Today we took a trip down to Richmond, VA. they have an awesome children's museum there. Then after the museum we went to the Gospel Chicken House. They have Bluegrass Gospel music every Saturday. You just bring a lawn chair and enjoy the music. the kids enjoyed listening to the music sitting in their TN chair. I think Andrew thought he was in TN or something because he kept getting the TN flag out of the van and waving it....GO UT :)

cool shades cailyn :)
the kids presenting a puppet show
this was so cool. it is an apple tree and apples would come out of these holes and the kids would collect them and put them in their baskets. Then they would go to the other side and dump them in the "shoot" and it would suck the apples up the shoot and then distribute them in the different holes. the kids loved this.
Cailyn was up the entire day today....she so did not want to miss out on anything :)

nathanael badge
last night in RU class nathanael earned his name badge. That means that he finished his first booklet and then has said 6 verses in the second book. He was so excited....he was showing everyone last night his badge :) madison will get hers next week. she should have received it last night but she went to the nursery with andrew instead of her class. anyway, she will get one next friday night. i am so proud of my children and their desire to learn Bible verses!

National Harbor
beautiful evening at the National Harbor last night. They had moved the statue of the "Great Awakening" to here. The kids loved playing on it. I think it is sorta a scary statue because it is supposed to represent a giant who is coming out of the ground(really a dumb statue in my opinion) anyway, I don't think the kids knew what they were climbing on except for the hands.
Nathanael is the one in the yellow shirt climbing on the face
