Today we had our first day of school :)
It started out being crazy. We all slept in
till 9 which was late but hey I like it :)
Then to get up and realize that someone
had tried to steal our van last night. So I
had to call the police and take care of that.
So by 10 we were able to start "school." the
kids loved it! I am doing K-4 for them both.
Nathanael will breeze thru it but I am trying
to get Madison up to par with him so I can
continue to teach just one grade with them
both. I think Madison will catch up...she is
a smart girl. And even Andrew had to sit in
and color with them and he actually did
his colors. I am babysitting a little boy and
I was hoping they would play together but
Andrew would rather "go to school" with his
siblings :) Anyway, had a good 1st day of
homeschooling :)

Today we tried feeding Cailyn
again...between trying to grab
the spoon and then putting her
feet in her mouth...don't think
we were able to get too much in..
more went on her :)

instead of eating...I don't think
she is too interested in eating....

Sunday Cailyn had her first taste of "food"
She wasn't too interested in it but her
brother sure was. As you can see, it is
his hand that kept reaching out for some.
Andrew actually ate that oatmeal too...
yuck!

Sunday evening the kids were playing
"going yard sale". They had dumped
their toys on the bed and was going thru
to see what they wanted to buy..it was so
cute except for the fact that it took a long
time to clean up that night :)

Andrew loves to play any sport
with a ball :) he has just picked up
baseball and he does really well
for his age....he makes contact with
the ball more than his older brother :)

Today we went over to some friends house.
They had went crabbing early this
morning and we went over there to eat
some of the crabs they caught. I love
crab meat but didn't realize how much
work goes into getting one crab open and
then the little meat that is inside...after
opening about 5 I had enough.....now
I realize why they are so expensive in
stores....a lot of work :)
But thanks Cindy and Billy for having
us over!

cailyn joy

Hard to believe my little baby is almost
five months old. These first few months
go by so fast! She is laughing and loves
for people to talk to her. She rolls over
all the time now but hates being on her
tummy. the bad thing is that she doesn't
always roll back onto her back and she
lays there screaming till someone rolls
her back on her back and then she rolls
back on her tummy.....so needless to say
I don't put her on her back very often :) she
sits in her saucer :)
today she wore her first pair of shoes :)
Madison kept insisting she wears shoes so
finally got them out and her foot fits it.
Madison then asked if Cailyn could walk
now that she has shoes on....I think she can't
wait to have a sister to play with her :)

today I am watching the Bass' children while
Jenny took her baby for a check up. So house is
full of 8 children laughing and playing and
running around :) They so enjoy having playmates over.
I tried to get all the kids together but that never
happened so just got the older kids :)

OK, normally my kids would get into
trouble jumping off the couch but the
other night I was watching a new show
that is on on Tuesday nights. it's called
wipe out. People go thru obstacles courses
and they try to beat the other person's time.
well I left the room and when I came back
andrew had put the blanket down and he
had his bldnket down there too and he was trying
to jump off the couch onto his little blanket...
he was so fascinated with the people on the show
jumping that he wanted to try it too :)
it was just too cute...had to take a picture
before discipling :)

he said he wants to play papa now :) but he
also asked if papa would "make him win" :)

it for me to see...he was so proud of

have no idea why he was doing this but
it was cute :)

Monday we went to the beach with
some friends. I didn't think my kids
had gotten stung by any jellyfish that
were out but when I was drying off
nathanael I saw the back of his leg really
red. You could tell the jellyfish had gotten
caught around his leg but I guess he didn't
know it. He is so tough.....like his mommy :)

John and Grace dropped in for
a visit this weekend so had them
over after church.

to the park. Enjoyed being out in
the beautiful weather the Lord
provided that day.
