Nathanael and Madison sang in their

first Christmas cantata...actually their

first time singing in the children's choir.

Poor Madison was so small that you only

see her blonde hair and black bow ..but

I was told told she did sing :)

Tuesday we had a little Christmas party
with some of our homeschool friends. we
had lunch then each of the kids made
their own gingerbread houses. I think
the little ones enjoyed eating the candy
more than decorating their houses :)
we had a houseful of kids but everyone
had a good time! And each of our friends
left with a goodie bag from Nathanael,
Madison, and Andrew.
It was cute when we were getting these bags
together, I was explaining that giving is better
than getting because my kids kept asking why
we were doing this. well after i explained about
giving nathanael was quick to say " well it is
good for them to give us presents too because
they would be the ones giving" :) leave it to the
kids to turn everything around so they are the
ones receiving :)
BoldI think Seth enjoyed sitting with the girls :)

Andrew's house...he kept eating the candy
and then before long he had no more house
either :)

On Saturday the 2 oldest children had
a Christmas party so Andrew stayed home
with mommy and helped wrapped Christmas
gifts. he didn't seem to mind that we were
not playing with the gifts, he was too
busy putting tape ALL over the packages!

here he was showing me how he could
throw up one of the rolls and then hit it
with the other roll...he kept saying it
was "cool" he even asked me to take his
picture...such a nut :)

again I followed the trail made by cailyn
and I found her in a closet trying to open
the chips...she had found food :)

My little baby in on the move
now....

everything goes into the mouth...
into everything.....

One day last week I had a friend, Michelle,
over and she has a 3 month old boy, Tyler.
Cailyn kept flirting with him that day :)
Last Thursday my friend Mary had to go
to the dentist so I watched 2 of her boys.
We so enjoyed having them over since
nathanael hasn't had a playmate over in
awhile. here they were enjoying some
hot homemade banana bread that had just
come out of the oven.

Cailyn enjoying a donut :)

mouth was too full to smile

On Saturday we drove up to Alexandria, VA

to watch the Scottish Bagpipe parade.

I really enjoy listening to the bagpipes.

This was the kids first parade and they

loved it even though it was only 35 degrees!
