When we first got to the fair
we stopped at watched the ducks
and pigs race...too funny,
especially the ducks!
too cute!

Father and Son

I think billy and the kids were practicing
to race with those pigs....Go brandon, go
beat your dad :)

We allowed the kids to ride 2 of the rides.
They picked the helicopter and then the
ship.

the kids loved the petting zoo and so did
mommy...it was free :)

No idea what Lyndsey was doing
here :)
Ok, this is what Lyndsey looked
like before the ride began...
and by the end of the ride they
all had their hand up...think they
enjoyed it :)

Ok, Cindy introduced my kids
to cotton candy...thanks cindy :)
madison didn't want it at first but
after she took that first bite... :)

Go Cindy! :)

No idea what he was doing :)
The kids have had a good week
in school. Last week we did i's
and this week was u's. The A beka
program starts them with cursive
in K4. the kids do pretty well with
it. Just thought I would show some
of their worksheets they have done.

Labor Day

Yesterday UT played their 1st
game so of course my kids wore
their UT outfits :)

On Monday, we went over to Cindy's
house for crabs again. Had a good time.
Thanks Cindy and Billy for inviting us.

Maryland blue crabs...yummy!
and then Cindy with her coke :)
Cindy, I think Andrew wanted
to help you out on your
landscaping :)

Monday night we went over to
the Bohac's house to watch
Tennessee play(it was on cable
this time). Mary even made TN
cupcakes for us...well she said
but I think they are getting into
the TN spirit :)
Thanks Mark and Mary for allowing
us to invade your house to watch
TN play....you know you like
BIG ORANGE :)

Nathanael is into building things with
his legos or lincoln logs

Andrew asleep on the couch

Here again, madison dressing up...
this time she is a mom walking her
baby :)

bass children

Last week Nathanael asked is
he could put another picture
on the refrigerator and I said
he could. Well he couldn't find
another magnet so I told him to
go one. Well he found cranky.
At the end of cranky there is a
magnet...such a smart little boy :)

Madison loves to dress up. This day
she actually decided to be a cowgirl
instead of her normal princess...so maybe
she isn't all girlie :) yea!

Last Wednesday I had 9 kids in my house!
Caleb who I normally watch on Wednesday
and then I had Jenny's kids as well. Full house
but praise the Lord they all had fun and they
were all played well together. I was able to
sit down on the couch during nap time :)

This is Sammy, Jenny's youngest. He
is a beautiful boy with beautiful eyes!

Ok, sammy that is as close as you get
to my little girl :) I think Cailyn likes
the attention though :)

best buds!

The pie I actually was able to bake....it's
nice sometimes to have other kids around
so my kids have someone to play with
and they allow me to do things I like to
do...number one - baking :) So this time
it was a berry pie...
well it has been a week since I have posted any new pictures so going to catch up today :)
Last week we started homeschooling and it went really well. The kids are so eager to get up now and start school. We started cursive last Wednesday. Just the letter i. I was so discouraged the first day but by Friday my spirits were higher. They were doing so much better. Madison is a lefty like her daddy, thank you Brett :), so it is harder with her but she is grasping the pencil better and does really well with it. Today they did their i's like there was nothing to it :) so now for the u's this week :) Andrew is doing well too. He is learning his colors, which he knows most of the main ones, and now going over shapes. We have a poster on the wall and he loves for it to be his turn to go up and point out his shapes and colors :) Today he kept saying "help me" when he was trying to write with his pencil :) So mommy is trying to help him hold a pencil the correct way....he's not getting it but hey he wants to learn like the others :) So anyway, homeschooling is going good and even mommy is enjoying it so far.

homeschooling

Today we had our first day of school :)
It started out being crazy. We all slept in
till 9 which was late but hey I like it :)
Then to get up and realize that someone
had tried to steal our van last night. So I
had to call the police and take care of that.
So by 10 we were able to start "school." the
kids loved it! I am doing K-4 for them both.
Nathanael will breeze thru it but I am trying
to get Madison up to par with him so I can
continue to teach just one grade with them
both. I think Madison will catch up...she is
a smart girl. And even Andrew had to sit in
and color with them and he actually did
his colors. I am babysitting a little boy and
I was hoping they would play together but
Andrew would rather "go to school" with his
siblings :) Anyway, had a good 1st day of
homeschooling :)
