Just brought out 6 loaves of homemade sourdough bread from the oven...yum yum! Just wish I had some homemade strawberry jelly to go with it...guess I will be making that soon :) My mommy used to make this bread at least once a week sometimes 2 or 3 times and I was always close by when she brought it out of the oven...I was the taste tester for her :) My mom was known for her homemade bread and jelly. She was always making a double batch so that she could share with others. We rarely went to church without bringing a loaf of bread or some other homemade baking for someone at church. She really had the gift of hospitality!
